Crow Yoga


Welcome to the Crow Yoga website.  

Based in Wirksworth, Belper, Matlock and surrounding areas, my classes welcome all abilities from beginners to advanced students.  I teach Vinyasa flow yoga which is energising and dynamic.  My classes are perfect for everybody from  total beginners, trying yoga for the first time, to  those with yoga experience wanting to build on their knowledge and practise.


I've recently started teaching Bellyfit and Bellyfit Flow.  Both are amazing holistic exercise classes aimed solely at women.  Bellyfit is an aerobic class which mixes belly dance, African and bollywood dance moves with yoga and pilates.  We celebrate the feminine and sweat with grace!  Bellyfit Flow is slower and low impact, but don't let that fool you, its still a great workout!  Drawing from flowing vinyasa style yoga as well as dance moves it offers an amazing strengthening work out.  Both Bellyfit and Bellyfit Flow are accompanied by brilliant music that will get you wanting to shimmy your way through the class.  What I hear the most at the end of these classes is new students telling me they hate exercise but LOVE bellyfit!  I have to agree!

I teach pregnancy yoga classes in Matlock.  Yoga is incredibly beneficial during pregnancy and can help both physically and mentally.  During pregnancy classes I focus on gently building the strength and flexibility that will help take women from pregnancy right through to motherhood.  I also try to target areas that may be susceptible to aches and pains as well as looking at breathing techniques that can help in labour.   I have three children myself and experienced pregnancy yoga with my last son, which by far was my most positive birth experience.  I hope to empower women by giving them a set of tools to ensure they get the best birth experience possible.

Mum and Baby yoga is prefect for mums of babies of 6 weeks to crawling.  The class is split into two parts; strengthening post natal yoga for mum, and baby massage/baby yoga to help support the development of baby.  We tend to end classes with a hot drink as a chat as it's often just as important to include that social aspect. 

I also offer classes for children.  Yoga is brilliant for children and can help them gain body awareness as well as confidence.  Children's sessions are built around games and stories, with the inclusion of asana (postures) and pranayama (breathwork).



I believe that yoga is for every body and everyone is welcome in my classes.  For all ages, body shapes and mindsets. My classes are great if you are looking to get a bit fitter, focus on your wellbeing or just take some well deserved me time.

Each week I ensure my classes are dynamic - building strength and flexibility and most importantly, good fun.  Everyone is welcome in my classes, so come along and experience the benefits of yoga for yourself.
